So how did last week go staying/working from home? Still figuring out the “new normal?” We adults need resources and ideas right now on how we can give ourselves the best sense of structure and support.  Here are a few ideas!

Schedule, Schedule, Schedule!

If you have kids and even if you don’t, having a daily schedule for yourself is vital during this time. You also need structure throughout your day to have a sense of continuity. This schedule should be written down and you should block out chunks of time to do different types of tasks. For example, from 9 am – 11 am is work time and 12 pm is lunch!

If you would like to take a look at a sample schedule, click here, as our friends at Change Over Constant have put together a daily schedule for you (Whether or not you have kids or not!)

What we can control and what we can’t!

Now this is tough! We humans have trouble with this even without the coronavirus! Here is a list of things that we can control and what we can’t!

Time to take up that hobby!

Remember when you wanted to start that podcast, cook that special dish, or take that free online class but never seemed to find the time? Well, we’ve all got a little bit more time on our hands now and maybe take a minute to think of what’s important to you? What skills are you looking to develop? Click Here to get a few ideas (some which you’ll now need to do virtually but still a great idea!)

Find Joy Wherever You Can!

We get it. It’s a stressful time to say the least. It’s time to find joy in the little things. Your daily walk, a snuggle from your pet, a sunny afternoon, or a phone call from an old friend just to say “Hi!” Find the joy and practice gratitude wherever you can.
